SHINee’s Onew, Key, And Minho Reveal How They Plan To Spend Their Time During Taemin’s Enlistment
In a recent interview with Marie Claire Korea, SHINee‘s Onew, Key, and Minho revealed how they will fill their time while Taemin completes his mandatory military service.

While they will certainly miss their youngest member, Onew, Key, and Minho plan on staying busy while he’s in the military!
Onew said he wants to become an even cooler person and make Taemin proud.
Even when 3 members enlisted, Taemin thought a lot on his own and did well. I want to repay back the time that Taemin spent that way. I felt like I received a lot from Taemin during my hiatus. That’s why I want to be an even cooler person so that when Taeminnie returns, I want him to feel a sense of pride when he says ‘Our hyung (older brother) is someone like this’ when he talks about a hyung called SHINee’s Onew.

While Onew, Key, and Minho served in the military, Taemin made sure Shawols had new music to enjoy by releasing solo music, like his hits “Criminal” and “Idea” from Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1 and Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 2 respectively.
Like Onew said, Taemin did well on his own while waiting for the older SHINee members to complete their military service. Now, Onew, Minho, and Key plan to entertain Shawols during Taemin’s military service just like he did during theirs.
Minho revealed that he will be focusing on acting and communicating more with fans while Taemin is away, and Onew and Key are busy preparing their solo albums.
I am trying my best to communicate as much in place of album promotions. The other members have their solo albums in the planning and even though I have acting as well as separate activities that I will do, I will be sharing our thoughts and hearts as SHINee continuously.

Key shared that he will wait patiently for Taemin and that he will work on becoming an even better performer and SHINee member while Taemin’s away.
Taeminnie did well even when I am not around and I will, of course, wait when Taeminnie is not around. I will be preparing myself well for SHINee too.

Key is also a fixed member of Amazing Saturday and I Live Alone, so Shawols can expect to see plenty of Key on these variety shows while waiting for SHINee to reunite with Taemin.
