SHINee’s Taemin Unites Top Dance Legends For His Comeback

He assembled dance royalty!

SHINee‘s Taemin recently made his solo comeback with his fifth mini album, ETERNAL, and the title track, “Sexy In The Air.”

Today, he promoted his new song, “Horizon,” on KBS Music Bank, delivering a phenomenal performance.

Netizens were in awe when they realized his backup dancers weren’t just typical backup dancers. Some notable names danced alongside Taemin, including famous French Senegalese choreographer and dancer Kany Diabaté Ahn. She has previously worked with legendary music artists Michael Jackson and Beyoncé and has recently become well-known among K-Pop fans. She is also the choreographer behind SHINee‘s “HARD,” Key‘s “Gasoline,” and VIVIZ‘s “Maniac.”

Beyoncé’s dance captain, Ashley Everett, who has also worked with Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, Tina Turner, Ciara, Sean Paul, and Anitta, was there as well, which was more surprising. It marked her first Korean show.

Popular SM Entertainment dancers and choreographers Kasper and Shuri were also there, among others. Fans marveled at Taemin’s backup dancers, who were all big names from around the world.

Yet, his previous performance, in which he promoted “Sexy In The Air” on M Countdown, was no different.

JustJerk Academy dancer and choreographer Bada Lee, the Kwon Twins, Kasper, Dora, Rian, Rosalyn, and Shuri, were recognized during the performance. Dance royalty consistently showing out for Taemin is a testament to his reputation in the music industry.

You will always be famous, Taemin!
