SHINee’s Taemin Trends On Twitter After Getting Robbed Of A “2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards” Nomination
The full nomination list for the 2021 Mnet Music Asian Awards (MAMAs) was recently revealed just moments ago and it’s been making headlines ever since. As fans all across the nation get ready to vote for their favorite artists, however, there was one particular fandom that realized their bias wasn’t nominated in a single category.
After the 2021 MAMAs nomination list was revealed to the public, it didn’t take long for SHINee fans to realize that Taemin was completely missing from the nominees. While the singer released his third extended play titled Advice back in May 2021, Taemin was completely omitted from the lists for the upcoming Mnet music awards.
SHINee fans were quick to express their frustrations out on Twitter, as hashtag #taemin began to trend worldwide.
Given Taemin’s impressive 13-year long career, he’s gone on to become one of the most well-respected artists in the K-Pop industry. His stable vocals, incredible dance moves, and kind personality have continued to be praised time and time again, yet he continues to prove his musical worth with every release.
And despite being one of the most talented artists within the K-Pop industry, Taemin’s name was nowhere to be seen on the 2021 MAMA nomination list—so fans gave Mnet a piece of their mind.
Shawols (SHINee fans) called out the Mnet Asian Music Awards for the blatant “disrespect” behind Taemin’s snubbed nomination, as they rallied behind the SHINee member.
