Netizens Shocked At Height Difference Between Two Popular Girl Group Members
Although the average human height has grown about three inches over the past century, South Korea’s height has skyrocketed, with women growing eight inches and men six inches on average.
This has raised the height of female K-Pop idols compared to previous generations. In a recent YouTube video of IVE’s Rei and Red Velvet’s Joy, netizens were surprised at their height difference.
Netizens found it interesting to see Joy look so small next to Rei, considering Joy was the tallest member of her group.
But the height difference between the two wasn’t by much as Joy is 167 cm (5”6”), and Rei is 170 cm (5’7”).
If you take a look at group photos, Joy is known as the tallest member of Red Velvet.
And for Rei, she is considered average height among the members of IVE.
