Where Have You Seen "Single's Inferno 2" Star Kim Han Bin Before? He Even Has An Unexpected Connection To Cha Hyun Seung

Single’s Inferno 2 viewers are discovering they recognize contestant Kim Han Bin.

Netflix‘s hit Korean reality dating show Single’s Inferno returned at the end of 2022 with Season 2 with a new group of singles searching for love on the deserted island “Inferno.”

While several contestants were new faces to viewers, some were familiar. For example, Lee Nadine had gone viral previously, Kim Jin Young has appeared on other variety shows, Lee So E is an actress, and some contestants have been in beauty pageants.

There was something familiar about Kim Han Bin too. However, it was revealed he is just a chef. So, many wrote it off that he was familiar in just that he sort of resembles actor Nam Joo Hyuk.

Well, that’s not all. This is not his first time publicly trying to find love.

Detective netizens discovered he had not appeared on another reality dating show like Jin Young. Instead, he was on YouTube shows.

Han Bin was in a few videos for the YouTube channel LookGating. One year ago, he was on a face exclusion date, meaning he chose a woman without seeing her face first. The episode is called, ” Handsome Guys vs. 4 Girls Showing Everything EXCEPT THEIR FACES #FaceExcludedDate #NEWLOOKDATE59.”

The other video netizens will most recognize him from is “18-year-old high school girl gets a handsome guy’s number [Look Date : War of Fashionistas EP.06].” He was the first of six oppas. While he has not been one of the most sought-after guys on Single’s Inferno, Han Bin was popular on this show.

LookGating has actually had other Single’s Inferno contestants on their channel before. K-Pop backup dancer Cha Hyun Seung appeared in a video. It’s not certain the unexpected connection to a previous contestant is how Han Bin got on the latest season, but one wonders since both Shin Seul Ki and new guy Kim Se Jun know contestants from Season 1.

Twenty Five Twenty One actor Choi Hyun Wook also appeared in a video for LookGating before the K-Drama was released. So, this YouTube channel has had a few stars appear.
