On February 11, the finale of Single’s Inferno came out, and the final couples were revealed.
Netizens were shocked when Ji Yeon chose Kim Te Hwan.
The sparks of confusion started as the choice came not long after Te Hwan and Ji Yeon’s date was criticized, as Te Hwan’s personality was portrayed as “narcissistic” and he didn’t give her the attention she deserved.
When it came to the decision, Ji Yeon honestly explained that she was unsure of certain things when it came to the two of them.
Ji Yeon then seemed to share that her reasons for picking came from Te Hwan always had eyes for her.
When they started walking, Tae Hwan pointed out that during the choosing process, Ji Yeon’s face showed different emotions from what was expected when picking your final choice.
Even as they walked away, they were joking about what happened, with Ji Yeon asking, “Did I look like I was thinking, ‘I’ll choose you out of pity'” for Tae Hwan to reply that it seemed like she didn’t want to leave him alone.
When the episode aired, netizens joked that Ji Yeon only picked Tae Hwan because she wanted to “leave” with a guy.
