“Single’s Inferno 4” Star In Legal Trouble After Appearing On The Show

A participant in the hit Netflix series Single’s Inferno 4 is facing legal issues after reportedly violating her exclusive contract with her agency. The star is Lee Si An, who has been with her agency, Leaders Entertainment, since August 2023.

On January 21, Leaders Entertainment revealed that Lee had breached her exclusive contract and additional agreements with the agency. The agency made it clear that it would pursue legal action in response to the breach.
We began discussions in April 2024 regarding Lee Si An’s participation in ‘Single’s Inferno 4’ and drafted an annex agreement to extend her exclusive contract with us.

This extension added one and a half years to her original agreement, which was set to expire in October 2024. The agency clarified that thorough discussions had been held with Lee and her family regarding these changes.
After securing Lee’s involvement in Single’s Inferno 4, which began filming in June 2024, the actress abruptly informed Leaders in August of her desire to end the contract just after completing filming. Leaders responded by stating that Lee had communicated through her representative that she would cease her activities by October 21, 2024, which they believe was done without proper justification.

Leaders further explained that all agreements related to her participation in the show were made under the agency’s official name and with Lee’s consent. The agency expressed disappointment, emphasizing that they had supported Lee’s growth and development, believing the show would provide her with valuable opportunities. Leaders criticized her sudden decision to halt her contract, calling it an attempt to deceive both the company and the show’s producers.
Since the establishment of Leaders, all contracts related to filming were made in the name of the agency’s representative. Lee Si An not only gave written consent but also participated in substantive discussions regarding these agreements.
We believed that participating in ‘Single’s Inferno 4’ would provide Ishian with a meaningful growth opportunity, and we did our best to support and negotiate on her behalf. However, after the appearance, her sudden decision to disregard the contract and unilaterally stop her activities is an act of deception against both the company and the program’s production team.

In the past, Lee has also gained recognition for her appearances in Produce 48 and Idol School.
