An Yea Won Almost Rejected “Single’s Inferno”…And It’s Totally Understandable
Can you imagine Single’s Inferno without this bubbly contestant? Like her castmate, Cha Hyun Seung, An Yea Won almost rejected Netflix‘s offer.
In a video for her new YouTube channel, An YeaWon, Yea Won answered questions about her on-screen romances on Single’s Inferno, her screen time, and her casting call.
“At first, I received an offer to be on the show through an Instagram DM,” she said. “When they told me that this was going to be on a desert island, I thought I had to survive on my own, which gave me a lot of pressure, so I was thinking about refusing that offer.”
She explained to Cha Hyun Seung, who guested in her video, that she changed her mind after finding out more about Single’s Inferno.
At first, when I heard the words “Desert Island,” I thought I had to do everything from scratch, so I was going to say no, but after listening to them more I thought it’d be fun. I thought we’d be playing games and all that.

“Since we’re by the beach, they told me I could swim whenever I wanted to,” Yea Won said. “I could sunbathe whenever I wanted to, and they also told me there were a lot of games prepared for us. So, it was pretty interesting to me, and that’s why I decided to join the show.”
