Fan Exposes Horrible Experience Using SM’s Global Package

Netizens hope they get a refund.

Recently, a fan who purchased SM Entertainment‘s global package to go to a concert exposed the room condition and gifts received online.

“SM Global Package” is a guaranteed method for foreigners to attend concerts in various countries. Most packages include hotel and transportation to the venue, with fans only needing to purchase plane tickets.

However, a fan exposed their frustration with the condition of their room despite paying a hefty price.

If you’re going to sell SM global packages like this, close down. (I chose the one-day package, which was 1,000,000 KRW ($~729.95 USD) per person for a twin bed.)

For gifts, they received a pouch, concept photo cards, and a necklace for standing tickets.

They also added that the bedsheets and bathroom had a strange smell mixed with cigarettes with the bathroom covered in mold and mildew.

Although they purchased a VIP soundcheck package, they received concert entry numbers in the 600s, with some friends receiving numbers in the 900s.

The fan ended up leaving and moving to a new hotel on their own.

I ended up leaving and moving to a different hotel the day I arrived. I will never purchase the global package again, at least for Manila. I know it’s my fault for not researching the hotel in advance, but I didn’t prioritize it because going to the concert was my main focus. I purchased it because I heard they gave a good hotel and concert entry number for Southeast Asia, but I guess I was wrong…

They also filmed a video of the room condition for reference.

Korean netizens were shocked at the state of the room and felt they make a claim and report it.
