SM Entertainment has clarified via Korean news outlet OSEN that aespa‘s Winter is not in a relationship with ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon.

On December 10, 2024 (KST), a post on X (former Twitter) claimed evidence that the idol pair had been spotted “on a date” at the same bar in Chungdam.

While the post has since been deleted, rumors about Winter and Jungwon’s alleged relationship swept the internet. In response to the growing speculations, SM Entertainment claimed “There is no truth to [the rumors]” and warned legal action against the individual who distributed the photos.

The individual who distributed the photos contacted a media outlet with the intent of monetary gain and attempted to communicate with us directly. However, when the media outlet refused to facilitate the tip-off for monetary purposes, the individual spread the photos online with malicious intent. We will be taking legal action.
