This means Red Velvet’s performances of “Zimzalabim”, “Umpah Umpah”, and “PSYCHO” have been cancelled. In addition, Wendy was slated to perform Aladdin OST “Speechless” and Frozen 2 OST “Into the Unknown” as part of a girl group vocal special OST stage alongside Oh My Girl‘s Seunghee, GFRIEND‘s Eunha, and MAMAMOO‘s Solar. These stages have also been cancelled.
Finally, the status of fellow member Irene‘s special stage with ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo is currently unknown, however many Reveluvs believe this stage will also be cancelled.
While SBS has not released details about how Wendy was injured, fans at the venue waiting for the pre-recording to start have shared that they believe her injury was due to the stage not being fully safe for performing, and she fell off the shaky stage. Fans are saying she fell around 2 meters, however this is not confirmed.
