Ahead of NCT’s album release, fans shared anger at Taeyong’s treatment. While his name was omitted, SM Entertainment seemingly used AI to put Taeyong into the teaser.

When the album was released, while Taeyong’s voice was heard throughout the album, they noticed his voice wasn’t in the music video for the title track “Walk.”

Yet, netizens noticed he made a cameo in the music, but through a baby picture during the dance break.

While many understand that Taeyong’s omission could be surrounding rules while he is serving in the military, they believe it’s unfair to pick and choose how to represent him in the comeback. Netizens pointed out that Taeyong cut his solo promotions short to record the album and appeared through AI and photos, just for his actual voice to be cut in the music video that people watch.

Although military rules for idols are strict, netizens are angry about the way SM Entertainment has handled it.
