The gesture reflects the company’s acknowledgment of its roots and the people who contributed to its success over the years.

The upcoming anniversary marks three decades since SM Entertainment was founded. To honor the milestone, the annual SMTOWN concert is being planned as an extravagant event. The Seoul performance will take place at the Gocheok Sky Dome on January 11 and 12, 2025.

Meanwhile, as most SM fans know, Lee Soo Man stepped away from the company early last year following a dispute over management rights. It remains unclear whether he will accept the invitation as he is currently focusing on launching a new idol group targeting the Chinese market under his recently established company, A20 Entertainment.

The concert will feature performances by current SM artists and appearances from legends such as H.O.T.’s Tony An, S.E.S’s Bada, and Fly to the Sky’s Hwanhee. Fans are eagerly anticipating the event, which promises to celebrate both SM’s rich history and its enduring impact on the K-pop industry.
