Beloved SM Entertainment Trainee Confirms He Has Left The Company

We wish him the best!

A popular trainee under SM Entertainment has confirmed his departure from the company.

In 2023, SM Entertainment announced that Shotaro and Sungchan would depart from NCT to debut in the new boy group RIIZE. The company also stated that a new NCT unit would be formed through the survival show NCT Universe: LASTART.

Ultimately, the winning trainees went on to debut as NCT Wish, and the others were assumed to have returned to training under the company.

Updates on some trainees were few and far between, with fans relying on netizens spotting them out in the wild, like the clips below of trainees Anderson and Kassho.

Recently, Anderson gave a surprising update on his current activities.

In early January, Anderson’s TikTok account became active again, with him sharing a new dance cover. He also created a new Instagram account under the same username, uploading a single photo of himself so far to his feed.
