Somi’s Hilariously “Inappropriate” (Yet Touching) Phone Case Has Fans Screaming

Fans are screaming at the phone case soloist Somi showed off on Instagram this week, but there’s a surprisingly touching purpose behind it.

A few days ago, Somi uploaded a seemingly normal mirror selfie to her Instagram story.

At first, all fans noticed was her stylish outfit, but look a little closer and you may notice something unusual about her phone case…

…it’s covered in illustrations of breasts! Given that Somi is just 19 years old, not many people would expect her to have such a bold and daring phone case. However, while it may look inappropriate, there’s actually a touching reason behind it.

Somi’s case was designed by popular brand Casetify. Priced between $40 and $55, the case’s proceeds go towards breast cancer awareness according to fans in the know. So, it may be hilarious, but it’s also an amazing gesture.

The star soloist has been working with Casetify for a while now. Last month, the brand even gifted Somi with a iPhone 12 complete with plenty of cases to try out.

However, the breast-covered case—aptly named “Boobies”—wasn’t among the mix, so she may have requested it herself.

Somi follows in the footsteps of celebrities like Emily Ratajkowski, who rocked the case back in August 2018.
