Somi‘s latest comeback has netizens divided, even with a cameo from an A-List K-Drama actor.
Somi and her company THE BLACK LABEL have been teasing her new release called “Ice Cream” and after the success of her past songs, including “Fast Forward,” there was a lot of anticipation.

On August 2, Somi released the song and music video. Unsurprisingly, the concept of the video perfectly matched the track and seemed perfect for the summer.
After teasing a special guest, netizens were shocked to see that A-List K-Drama actor Park Seo Joon made a special cameo, appearing twice towards the end of the music video.
Some fans were obsessed and loved how it seemed perfect for the summer.

The comments were full of positive reactions.
Sadly, for many other netizens, they felt disappointed by the song. On Reddit, many expressed that after the epic nature of “Fast Forward,” they expected something great that didn’t hit with the new song. While many loved the cameo of Park Seo Joon, they didn’t like the lyrics and melody, comparing it to something they expected from Western artist Meghan Trainor.
