Son Heung Min responded to rumors claiming he visited a club in Seoul after Tottenham’s 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich.
On August 3, Son Heung Min’s Tottenham Hotspur football club faced off against Kim Min Jae’s Bayern Munich in Seoul for a pre-season match. The match ended with Bayern Munich’s side edging out the Spurs 2-1.
According to reports, it is rumored that after the match, Son Heung Min took members of the Bayern Munich team to a club in Seoul and paid for them, costing them upwards of tens of thousands of dollars. The rumors claimed that Kim Min Jae was also in attendance.
As criticism over the rumors mounted, Song Heung Min’s agency, Son And Football Limited responded on August 4, denouncing the rumors as defamation. The agency then revealed that the rumors were spread by the club’s promoters to bring more business.

We have since confirmed that the MDs at the club spread the rumors to promote the club.
