Actress Park Gyu Young has been confirmed as the female lead of Squid Game 2.
Squid Game kicked off the first season in 2022, leading to much global acclaim. The season became a huge sensation due to the unique premise. When the series was confirmed for a second season, many were anticipating the cast.
While Im Siwan has already been confirmed for the second season, alongside Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, Lee Jung Jae, and Lee Byung Hun, the lack of female cast members drew some ire. As of June 24, Netflix finally announced that the second season will have a female lead. Actress Park Gyu Young was announced as the role.
Park Gyu Young is known for her roles in It’s Okay Not To Be Okay and Sweet Home.
