“Squid Game” Director Hit With Strong Backlash After Revealing Reason For Pushing Forward With T.O.P’s Casting

Squid Game Director Hwang Dong Hyuk recently revealed his readon for pushing forth with the casting of T.O.P as Thanos. Although he had foressen some issues domestically, he reasoned that marijuana is considered legal in many countries. As Squid Game drew much attention in international waters, Hwang thought that the casting would bring up no issues.

I did not know that he would be unforgiven to this extent. I heard many people bring up the issue of casting. I thought that such opinions would only be raised in Korea, and I thought that internationally, this would not be a problem as marijuana is legal in many countries overseas.
