Kim Hyung Jun Further Denies Sexual Assault Accusations And Will Countersue For Defamation

Kim Hyung Jun, was recently accused of sexually assaulting a woman at her own home. The woman claimed that back in May 2010 she went home drunk with Kim Hyung Jun, only under the pretense that he will help her fall asleep. She then claims that Kim Hyung Jun attacked her, disregarding her protests. She has been receiving psychological treatments since that night.

She announced that she finally got the courage to report him after 9 years after seeing the sexual assault cases charged against other male idols.

However, Kim Hyung Jun denied the claims through his agency. They claimed that everything that happened that night was consensual.

“The plaintiff’s story is completely false. Back in 2010, [Kim Hyung Jun] was drinking with a friend but there was a female employee who joined them for drinks. She is the plaintiff and they went back to her house to have sex because she wanted it.”

They believe the woman decided to report him after 9 years because he is a celebrity. They will be taking legal actions to fight against her accusations.

Kim Hyung Jun rose to fame in the 2000’s with his group, SS501. The group hasn’t officially disbanded, but they have not been active since 2010. Kim Hyung Jun joined their sub-unit SS301, where they briefly promoted back in 2016.
