Fourth-Generation Idol Saves A Starving Part-Time Staff Member

On July 21, SBS‘s Gayo Daejeon: Summer was held at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. The lineup consisted of various idol groups who performed collaboration and special stages to cool down the summer heat.

Recently, a part-timer shared a heartwarming episode while working backstage.

“Title: The only thing I’ve gained from working part-time at ‘Gayo Daejeon’ is Hueningkai

I’m not belittling other idols. I was just working part-time, putting food in the idol waiting rooms. TXT’s Hueningkai is the real deal. I was distributing snacks and because I was hungry, I said to myself, ‘Looks good.’ As I was leaving, he gave me some snacks! (These were for artists only so staff weren’t allowed to take it.) Ever since then, I’ve decided to protect Hueningkai.”

They also added that the other members and staff were also very kind and offered snacks.

When Hueningkai gave me snacks, Yeonjun had just come back from rehearsal, so he and the other members and staff all told me to have some more. I think they are all just so kind. If there are only people like this, I would love to work in this field…

They also revealed that if it weren’t for Hueningkai, they would have starved throughout their shift.

I can’t say anything for sure, but for me, I wasn’t paid for this job. Or more like I wasn’t able to get paid…I work in the drama field and the director requested that I work and help out for the show because they were short on staff so I wasn’t able to get paid. But they didn’t even give us any meals, so I was able to eat something because of Hueningkai.

They emphasized just how sweet the members were and even wished they could move departments.

OP: How nice. I was so hungry that I took all the snacks they gave to me. They are all such kind people. I didn’t know because I never worked on this side before. I seriously am thinking about moving departments.”
