Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Goes Viral For Hilarious Way In Which He Approached NMIXX’s Lily At 2022 ISAC
There are not a lot of people in K-Pop that Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan is not friends with—or at least, it often seems that way. In fact, he’s gained attention for interactions with several of his besties at this year’s Idol Star Athletic Championship (ISAC), including ITZY‘s Ryujin, AB6IX‘s Woong—and now NMIXX‘s Lily.

His relationship with Woong, however, was shown to be markedly different. Unlike Ryujin, Woong did not have any nefarious designs on Bang Chan… Instead, the two of them proved they are actually the two softest besties as Woong ran over to hug Bang Chan when he saw him.

Yet, Bang Chan’s friendship with Lily also how its own vibe. They have been friends since they were trainees, so Lily has been open about how much Bang Chan supported her during that time, especially as a fellow Australian. In fact, the two of them are so close that Bang Chan once expressed discomfort at being called sunbaenim by her, preferring the more familiar term oppa, or ‘older brother.’

While at 2022 ISAC, Bang Chan went viral for the hilarious way in which he approached her. It was not only a little weird but also extremely wholesome! Bang Chan was seen coming up behind Lily and giving her a brief pat on the head before running away with an unusual, admittedly hilarious gait. The way he moved was so striking that the clip is already at 1 million views as of this writing.

A fan hilariously pointed out that the way Bang Chan ambled along made him look like a grandpa…and now it’s honestly hard not to see it!
Yet, despite being so weirdly hilarious, the moment certainly shows that the two of them are very comfortable with each other. As a matter of fact, they hung out together at other points throughout the event as well.
