STAYs Think Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Is Scolding Them For Sending Protest Trucks
Recently, an issue involving Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan has left many STAYs feeling anger towards the group’s management.
On August 28, a fan shared a clip from a fansign where Bang Chan confessed that he wanted to do his weekly broadcast program, Chan’s Room, but that his company told him not to do so.
No more chan’s room?😥 This breaks my heart especially that I find comfort and a sense of belonging through his lives. It has become stays’ source of happiness and a way to escape harsh realities. A world where we can let go, at least for an hour. I’m devastated for Chan & Stays pic.twitter.com/CBLV3tHnpr

During Chan’s Room episodes, Bang Chan would chat with fans for hours about anything that came to his mind.
Chan has played so many times "Rewrite The Stars" during Chan's room.

Chan’s Room has been on hiatus since May 14, 2023, and many fans were hopeful that the comforting weekly live streams would return soon. After the reveal of this information, #DIV1DISBAND, #JYPEPROTECTSKZ, and #ProtectBangChan were trended by STAYs on X (formerly known as Twitter).
STAYS Outraged As Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Confesses JYP Entertainment Shut Down “Chan’s Room”
Just a day later, Bang Chan responded to these concerns indirectly, telling fans that “everything is my decision, my rules.” Despite this, some fans were not entirely convinced Bang Chan decided to end Chan’s Room alone.
Now, STAYs are convinced Bang Chan has sent more messages about the subject, this time scolding fans.
As part of the initial protest, fans paid for protest trucks to remain outside JYP Entertainment to show their anger over Chan’s Room‘s ending. Fans commonly use protest trucks to convey messages to agencies and spread awareness of issues.
The usage of protest trucks has been met with mixed feelings by artists like Jeon Somi, who recently told fans not to send trucks to her agency over her infrequent comebacks.
The trucks demanding the return Chan’s Room were successfully deployed, with fans sharing images of them on Twitter.

While messaging on a fan chatting platform, Bang Chan sent a series of messages where he talked about the thing he “hate[s] the most.”
Bang Chan: Do u know what I hate the most tho?
Bang Chan: When people think that they’re trying to help but they’re actually not lol
Bang Chan: You know what I mean?
Many STAYs have interpreted these messages as Bang Chan telling fans their protesting efforts are not helping. Fans felt he was “scolding” them on a TikTok showing his messages.
