Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Praises TWICE’s Nayeon And Says He Has A Lot To Learn From Her
Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan was a trainee at JYP Entertainment for seven years before debuting. Years later, he has nothing but praise for the TWICE members he trained with, including Nayeon.
During episode 163 of his regular “Chan’s Room” live stream, Bang Chan reacted to “POP!” and “NO PROBLEM” (featuring Stray Kids’ Felix) from Nayeon’s new album to help celebrate her solo debut.
Like TWICE fans, Bang Chan has been waiting for this day.
Bang Chan talked about how when he first joined JYP Entertainment, TWICE’s Nayeon, Jihyo, and Jeongyeon were already trainees in the company.
He often saw them at showcases and evaluations and grew to be familiar with and appreciative of TWICE’s performance style.
So when he first watched Nayeon’s solo music video and heard her music, he immediately thought it was perfect for her, given it’s what the TWICE members are particularly good at.
He then talked about how Nayeon has always been good at everything, even since she was a trainee. Bang Chan then stated that, as a trainee, he thought Nayeon was amazing.
He still thinks so, especially when she sings live on stage.
Nayeon has solid skills, according to Bang Chan. He even said, “There’s so much to learn from her.”
Bang Chan then revealed that he has felt that way since he was a trainee but continues to feel the same today.
With such an impressive solo debut under her belt and the waves she’s made as a member of TWICE, it makes sense that Bang Chan would have such admiration for his labelmate!
