Stray Kids’ Felix Won’t Be Cutting His Hair Anytime Soon, As He Embraces Unisex Image

He’s challenging himself.

Stray KidsFelix has long been outspoken about his unique androgynous style. Years ago, in an interview with Elle Korea, he revealed Gigi and Bella Hadid as his fashion icons. He explained, “Women’s apparel also gets my attention a lot. I believe that I should wear clothing that suits me best, regardless of gender.”

Previously, Felix garnered attention for sharing a concept photo of himself from ATE, in which he was styled in a black crop top with sheer sleeves, accessories, and makeup that showcased his freckles. STAYs noticed among his hashtags of #felix, #straykids, and #stay were also #unisex and #vibes.

Now, Felix has opened up more about his “unisex vibes” in a new video.

I’m also interested in fashion. When we have photo shoots or do merch shoots or jacket shoots… I aim to achieve a unisex image.

That also means Felix likely won’t be getting a haircut anytime soon. He added that he has been trying to grow his hair as long as possible.

Always having short hair isn’t fun. I’m challenging myself to see how long I can grow my hair.

— Felix

Felix is so committed to his unisex image that he was surprised to hear others describe him as “manly!” Fans love how Felix doesn’t conform to gender norms and the average society’s expectations. He’s just being himself!
