It all started with Stray Kids‘ Deadpool-inspired performance of “God’s DDU-DU DDU-DU” on Mnet‘s Kingdom: Legendary War.

It caught the attention of Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds. From then on, Ryan Reynolds and Stray Kids’ leader Bang Chan developed a friendship. They have sent each other autographed gifts and frequently praise each other in interviews.

STAYs have been hoping that Ryan Reynolds would meet Stray Kids one day. We came close when Bang Chan virtually interviewed Reynolds during promotions for film Free Guy.

Now, Ryan Reynolds and Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman are in South Korea promoting the new Marvel film Deadpool & Wolverine. Jackman was also converted, becoming a STAY shortly after Reynolds.

It was previously reported that the actors would be filming content with Stray Kids members.

Today, Ryan Reynolds shared a video, doing the “Pass-the-Phone” challenge, saying, “I’m going to pass my phone here to my favorite Australian…” Hugh Jackman, flattered, took the phone, only for Reynolds to snatch it from him. He said, “These are the favorite Australians,” revealing a grinning Bang Chan and Felix.

The video went viral with 1.2M views on X (formerly Twitter) and 4.9M on TikTok at the time of writing. Netizens were excited to see they finally met!

Additionally, Ryan Reynolds tweeted a photo of the four men together. He joked that he negotiated a trade and that Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) would be the newest but sole member of Stray Kids.

Stray Kids also shared an official post, introducing the group’s “besties.” Felix took a group selfie with everyone!

STAYs can’t help but wonder if this is real life or if it’s just fantasy. We’ve waited three years for moments like these! Now, we just wait for the official interview to release.
