At one point, Lee Mujin brought up his “legendary trainee” status at JYP Entertainment. He mastered the 40 basic moves in just two weeks, with the previous record being TWICE‘s Momo at four months.

I heard there’s a story that you were ‘The Legendary Trainee of JYP.’ I heard there are about 40 basic choreography moves in JYP and you passed all 40 in just two weeks.

Lee Know clarified that while the record is true, the circumstances surrounding it were more dire than fans may have expected. Rather than finishing the basic movements naturally, he did so out of desperation.

Lee Know: To be honest…two weeks was all I had.

Lee Mujin: So it’s not like you had all the time but you just finished it in two weeks. Rather, that was all the time given to you!

It amazed Lee Mujin even more that the young idol was able to do this while under immense stress, saying it was “still not an easy thing to do.” The Stray Kids member agreed and explained the the impossible becomes possible when truly needed.

Everything’s possible if you’re at the end of your rope.

Lee Know demonstrated the easiest move out of the 40: body isolations. This, along with the other movements, are fundamental in becoming a good dancer.

Before he was a trainee, Lee Know was part of a successful dance crew and even became a backup dancer for the likes of BTS.
