Stray Kids Scheduled To Perform At Venue That Doesn’t Exist

Canadian STAYs are worried.

Stray Kids unexpectedly announced more stops for their 2024-2025 World Tour.

While many STAYs are excited about the possibility of seeing Stray Kids next year, the announcement has been met with a lot of criticism. Many are upset over the lack of notice, as tickets will be on sale on Friday, although all the U.S. dates will be in June. The timing of ticket sales with holidays is also terrible.

Stray Kids are scheduled to perform in stadiums this summer, an upgrade from the group’s previous North American tour. Naturally, many are excited for the group.

Yet, STAYs are upset that it appears that the floor will be General Admission instead of seated.

Especially in the summer heat, this sounds risky.

That’s not all. One of the stadiums where Stray Kids is scheduled to perform might not even exist.

Stray Kids is scheduled to perform at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on June 29. The venue is still under construction but will have a capacity of 50,000, making it “GTA’s largest purpose-built music venue hosting fans and artists from around the world.”

It’s estimated to be finished by summer 2025, literally the same time the tour is scheduled. However, Torontoans don’t have much hope it will be done in time.

Netizens are also suspicious that the stadium is being made with the intention for Stray Kids, among other international artists’ tours, based on an interview with Live Nation Canada‘s president of music, Erik Hoffman.

If the stadium is completed in time, Stray Kids might make history as the first K-Pop group to perform there and the first-ever artist.
