Stray Kids and actor Ryan Reynolds have a long history of showing each other mutual support. They’re basically each other’s biggest fans.
The Deadpool actor solidified himself as a fan after he was made aware of Stray Kids’ Deadpool-inspired performance on Mnet‘s Kingdom: Legendary War.
They’ve since sent each other autographed gifts…
…and have chatted about Ryan Reynolds’ movie Free Guy via video chat.
Fans were thrilled when Ryan Reynolds recently promoted Stray Kids‘ recent comeback by posting the hashtag #ODDINARY to his Instagram story.

During a Twitter Space interview with Billboard, Stray Kids talked about everything ODDINARY. Host Jeff Benjamin asked a question fans were very curious about… if they had seen the shout-out Ryan Reynolds had given the album.
Bang Chan confirmed that they had seen the post and said, “We were really, really surprised. It came out of nowhere.”
Felix then mentioned that they weren’t expecting it. They prepared the album with STAYs (fans of Stray Kids) in mind. Felix acknowledged, though, that, “Ryan Reynolds is also a STAY.” Still, it was exciting.

Bang Chan said that he saw the shout-out first, then sent it to Felix. He continued, “I like how we show support to each other very passively,” referring to the simple ways they support each other.
For example, Ryan Reynolds has liked many Stray Kids related tweets.

Stray Kids checked out and enjoyed Ryan’s newest movie, The Adam Project and have shown their support that way. They also mentioned watching Free Guy and how they are really excited for Deadpool 3 as well.
Bang Chan had this to say, “If he shows love and support for us … we always have it ready for him as well … big thank you to big brother Ryan!”
Later, Felix went live on TikTok and continued to thank “big brother Ryan” for the support. He stated that he believes Ryan Reynolds is a true STAY now.
