SEVENTEEN‘s Hoshi is the most successful Shawol ever!

On July 4, Hoshi joined SHINee‘s “HARD” TikTok dance challenge with none other than Taemin himself! In the video, Hoshi showed off his signed copy of SHINee’s first album, repackage AMIGO, which he previously credited as his source of inspiration to become a singer.

Taemin and Hoshi exchanged signed albums when they met. Taemin received an autographed copy of SEVENTEEN’s FML.

Additionally, Taemin started following Hoshi on Instagram. Taemin revealed that he had become close to Hoshi due to their similar personality type.

Hoshi, a longtime fan of SHINee, has been following both SHINee and Taemin. Recently, he even joined as a viewer of one of SHINee’s Instagram Lives. He left several comments that got the attention of the SHINee members.

Hoshi has been a fan of SHINee for many years, and they are his role models. He received SHINee’s first album as a gift from Taemin’s uncle, an acquaintance of his dad’s. This inspired his dream of becoming a K-Pop idol.

During Lunar New Year, my father’s friend came. He is SHINee Taemin sunbaenim’s uncle. He gave me SHINee’s debut album in 2008. Back then, I didn’t really know anything about K-pop! At first, I just watched it and didn’t even think about playing the music. I just thought “Oh it’s a CD!” In the past, there was school homework where you have to play English CDs and follow after it…  really didn’t want to do that. So I put the (SHINee) CD into the CD player without thinking, but so many good songs were playing. So I searched online about SHINee and learned about K-pop.

Hoshi has remained a dedicated Shawol even after he achieved his dream. He has frequently mentioned SHINee and even attended concerts.

So, knowing that Hoshi has been a fan for so long, even receiving an album from Taemin’s uncle to now dancing alongside Taemin himself, his fellow Shawols could not be happier.

He is truly the most successful Shawol!
