Last Interview With The Late Sulli To Be Released Four Years After Its Occurrence

The interview was recorded in 2019.

Earlier this year, we reported that Netflix would be releasing a one-part special episode of the anthology series Persona with the late K-Pop idol Sulli as its focus. Originally planned to air on June 16, the episode has yet to be released, and now it’s been confirmed why.

Rather than being released on Netflix, the documentary film, titled To Sulli, will instead be shown for the first time at the 28th Busan International Film Festival. The announcement came on September 5 during a press conference for the event, where Wide Angle Documentary Showcase listed the film among their line-up.

Sulli

The film is especially dear to fans, friends, and family of Sulli as it will feature the final interview in 2019 that the idol took part in before she passed away in October that year while filming for the original Persona: Sulli series.

Organizers have described it as a “captivating topic work”, as viewers will have a last look into the thoughts and feelings of the talented and beloved Sulli.

The 28th Busan International Film Festival will run from October 4-13 at the Busan Cinema Center.
