Super Junior’s Heechul Implicated In NCT Haechan And Johnny’s Sleeping Allegations — He Responds

NCT‘s Haechan and Johnny were recently caught up in a controversy after some netizens accused them of having problematic private lives. They were accused of sleeping with girls who were fans of other members, drinking and inviting them to their hotels during a stay in Japan.

As more and more is coming to light around the controversy, Instagram stories from one of the girls who was named in the controversy were posted on X. The stories were meant to be private, but they appear to have been leaked by a friend. She had been invited to a drinking session, where she was surprised to see Super Junior‘s Heechul there. She captioned her picture, “daebak, Heechul came LOL.”

As the photo was posted by one of the girls that the NCT members allegedly slept with, many were wondering if she was introduced to NCT by Heechul, or if they all hung out together at any point in time. Heechul is known to have wide connections and is very sociable.

On June 4, 2024, Heechul responded to the issue directly. A fan had sent him a message on Dear U Bubble saying “Heechul, just what have you been doing in Japan?” He quickly denied having met the NCT members outside of work.

“I’ve been keeping an eye on it anyway. I’m worried I’ll cause an incident on Instagram again, so I’ve just been talking to the company. I’m going to give a brief statement here in case you guys will worry or be disappointed. I’ve never met nor had a meal or drunk with any of our company juniors outside of work before. I don’t even have their contact numbers.”

Despite his clarification, netizens skeptical regarding his message. Many pointed out that Heechul did not actually deny meeting with or drinking with the girls.
