Super Junior’s Kyuhyun “Confirms” A Dating Rumor With Popular Star
Super Junior are one of the few second-generation groups still actively promoting, and with their ages has come more openness and acceptance about their relationships than the average K-Pop group.
For example, most fans were thrilled to hear that Ryeowook would marry former TAHITI member Ari, an occasion on which all the members of Super Junior gathered together for the first time in years.

Recently, Kyuhyun “opened up” about a past dating rumor with a popular star, confirming it in the process.
On his YouTube channel, Kyuhyun shared a video in which he went through his Namu Wiki page to fact-check the information listed about himself on the site.
After reviewing a few statements, Kyuhyun spotted one that said he had dating rumors with actor Um Ki Joon, which he stated was “a fact.” He also referred the actor as “honey.”
Um Ki Joong is an actor with nearly thirty years of experience and is known to current audiences for his roles in The Penthouse: War in Life and Little Women.
Um Ki Joong and Kyuhyun have been friends for many years, something that has led some to question their relationship. Kyuhyun actually addressed these rumors in 2023, when Super Junior went on a similar program.
Kyuhyun explained that when the rumors broke out, Um Ki Joon messaged him saying that they were dating and that he responded by saying “yes, honey.”
Kyuhyun shares that after Um Ki Joong’s wedding announcement in May 2024, that the comment section of one of his music videos was filled with comments saying that was the reason he sad.
