According to Suzy, the key was to smile and only slightly show your top teeth rather than smiling widely.
She admitted you might look a bit foolish doing the smile, but netizens and Jo Hyunah agreed that it only worked because Suzy was doing it.
However, this “Suzy” smile became a trend, with netizens and influencers trying it out. TikTok influencer Jooshica explained the viral trend and did her version of it, asking netizens if the smile was working.
