Suzy Reveals Her Plans As Her Contract With JYP Entertainment Expires
Park Hyung Sik and Suzy are now free agents, and multiple companies are jostling to sign them to their agencies.
Park Hyung Sik and Suzy both debuted as idols in their own respective groups, but now, are free agents focusing on their acting careers, which has proven to be incredibly successful for them both. However, they won’t be free agents for long, as agencies are jostling and competing to sign the two hottest actor-turned idols.
After having debuted under ZE:A, Park Hyung Sik slowly turned his idol career into one of acting when he showed his talents in 2012 through his role in the SBS drama series, Dummy Mommy. Soon, multiple other drama producers hired him to play other roles and showcase his acting talents, such as The Heirs, Nine, and Hwarang.
Recently, Park Hyung Sik was reported to have decided to sign with UAA Entertainment and become label-mates with actors Song Hye Kyo and Yoo Ah In, but according to Park Hyung Sik, he will be focusing on filming Strong Woman Do Bong Soon before deciding on an agency.
Suzy’s contract with JYP Entertainment ended on March 31, and she’s currently a free agent, deciding on which agency to sign with next. After making her film debut with Architecture 101, the nation instantly fell in love with her “girl-next-door” image and nicknamed her “the nation’s first love”. Soon, Suzy was the number one candidate for many romance series, including Big, Gu Family Book, and Uncontrollably Fond, especially for her sweet and loving vibe.
As of now, Suzy is still looking for a new agency but stated she will start considering her options once she has finished filming her newest drama series, While You Were Sleeping.
