Baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun boasted about his relationship with T-ARA‘s Jiyeon through his Instagram.
Hwang Jae Gyun, on April 25, uploaded a photo onto his Instagram story of the couple wearing matching shoes.
The athlete captioned the photo of the couple’s shoes by asking, “Guess which of these feet are mine,” showing the size difference between the athlete and the idol’s shoes.
While many netizens congratulated the couple again for their impending nuptials, a select few noticed the shoes the couple’s shoes.
In the picture, the couple is seen wearing Air Jordan 5 Moonlight, also known as the Oreos.
First released as The Oreos in 2014, the shoes were re-released in 2021 as The Moonlight. The shoes are well regarded by collectors as they, like most Air Jordans, are released in limited runs.
Jiyeon announced her engagement to the star athlete in February 2022.
Hwang, 34, has been a professional baseball player since 2007 and has played for the San Fransisco Giants in 2019 before returning to the KBO, Korea’s domestic baseball league, where the player is currently playing for the KT Wiz.
Jiyeon debuted with T-ARA in 2009 and has carved out a great career as an idol. T-ara group released Re: T-ARA in 2021, the first album from the group in four years, to much fanfare. Check out the music video to their comeback single, “Tiki Taka” in the link below.
