Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon uploaded a tribute post to Jonghyun on her Instagram, where she bared her soul about losing one of her closest friends.

I could’ve done it before, but I hate myself for losing that chance, and now I sit in regret.

Taeyeon and Jonghyun were known to be one of the closest friends as they shared their love for music together, since years before each others’ debut.
Taeyeon had featured on Jonghyun’s song called “Lonely”, which he wrote and composed for his latest album “Story Op.2”. The song was released on April 24th of this year.
Fans are gathering on Taeyeon’s Instagram to share their condolences and the sadness over the loss of Jonghyun.
