Basketballers are commonly known for their tall height, but one teenage player from China is going viral after being 7ft 5 at just 17 years old.

China recently beat Japan in the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup semi-finals.

Among the photos of the team playing and their celebration, one player stands out, and it’s 17-year-old Zhang Ziyu.

She has been making waves during the tournament, and a clip from a recent match against Indonesia is going viral as the player showed off her unreal height.

In the clips, the athlete barely has to make a jump to reach the basket that towers over her fellow teammates and competitors.

The video was shared online and quickly went viral, with nearly 100,000 likes and over 25 million views.

Netizens were in shock after seeing the video, comparing her to past famous tall basketballers and realizing that at such a young age, she is probably still growing to some extent. Others shared how it seemed unfair considering the advantage she and her team have because of the height.
