2nd Generation Male Idol Confesses To Needing Stitches After Being Beaten Up By His Group Leader
2nd generation boy group member Teen Top‘s Niel confessed to having once fought with his leader badly. The leader then was C.A.P, who has since left the group.
On an episode of I’m Gyuri aired September 6, 2024, Niel admitted that the group “physically fought and cursed at each other” as a way of getting through disagreements. He further explained that he once had to go on broadcast with stitches on his lips because his leader had hit him until the point where he had to go in to the hospital for treatment. Niel explained how the fight happened. It occured due to usage of a hairdryer.
It honestly wasn’t about anything big. He was drying his feet using a hairdryer. I wanted to dry my hair after showering. I took the hairdryer after telling him, but he wasn’t happy. That’s when we began fighting. But I’m the younger one, so the leader hyung got up and hit me. After the fight was mediated, we all went to Kimbap Cheonguk and ate, but my lips hurt so much. I lied to the manager that I fell on the stairs and went to the emergency room. The next day, we had to go on Inkigayo. My lips were so swollen.
