“Thanks To You, I Was Happy” — ASTRO’s Sanha Leaves A Heart-Wrenching Message For Moonbin In New Post
ASTRO‘s Sanha recently returned to Instagram to leave a moving message for the late Moonbin.
On June 7, Sanha shared his first Instagram post since Moonbin’s passing, consisting of several images and videos of the two idols together. The first three images show the pair in the process of hugging while on stage.
It has been forty-nine days since Moonbin’s passing, and in some Buddhist traditions, that is the time it takes for one’s spirit and energy to be fully released. This seems to be reflected in Sanha’s post, with him saying, “It’s really time to let you go now..”
Hyung. Goodbye.
It’s really time to let you go now.
Promise me we’ll meet again one day. OK?
And when we do, let’s hug it out.
Thanks to you, I was happy.
And I wish you a happily ever after, too.
I love you so much.— Sanha
The post contains more moments, including the pair playing around while attending various schedules. Sanha and Moonbin were most recently active as the subunit, MOONBIN&SANHA, and were on tour.
The remaining photos show Sanha holding two rings linked on a chain, presumably to be worn as a necklace.
Fans quickly realized the rings are Moonbin’s Aroha (ASTRO’s fanclub name) and ASTRO friendship rings.
This post comes two days after Sanha visited Moonbin’s new memorial site alongside Cha Eunwoo, which was documented in a post shared by the latter.
