As the members focused on individual activities, member Seungyoun (now known as WOODZ) did the same, releasing music before his appearance on Produce X 101. The idol placed high enough to join the short-lived X1, but continued his solo career under the name WOODZ after the group was disbanded.

In January 2024, the idol began his military enlistment a little earlier than expected.

On October 5, a special episode of Immortal Songs aired featuring military personnel. WOODZ was among the performers, performing “Running In The Sky” with singer Jung Seung Hwan. The idol also performed his song, “Drowning,” from his OO-LI album.

The performance inspired much interest in the idol, manifested in chart activity. On October 2, “Drowning” was ranked 983 on the MelOn Daily Chart, and by October 10, his ranking rose to 246!

WOODZ has seen increased streams on other charts as well, including Spotify.

At the current rate, it would not be a surprise if “Drowning” managed to break through the top 100 of the MelOn Daily Chart and beyond in the next few days! Many fans are excited and proud of the idol!
