Tiffany to sit out of SMTOWN’s 20th anniversary Hawaii vacation due to “self-reflection”
It has been decided that Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany will not be attending SM Entertainment‘s 20th anniversary Hawaii trip this month.
On August 28th, SM Entertainment and its 350 artists and staff members will be leaving on a “unity” vacation trip to the Hawaiian islands for four days and three nights. The purpose of this vacation is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of SM Entertainment’s foundation as well as strengthening the “united bond” between all of its artists and staff members.
However, a media spokesperson revealed to Sports Chosun on the 24th that Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany will ultimately not be following along with her agency members to Hawaii due to the recent SNS controversy she was involved in.
The spokesperson stated, “In order to continue with her deep self-reflection regarding the recent Korean National Independence Day SNS incident, it has been decided that Tiffany will not be participating in the SM Entertainment 20th anniversary Hawaii unity trip.”
