Top Actress Directly Addresses Viral “Shoulder Filler” Allegations
Popular actress Han Ye Seul has recently responded to viral claims regarding her allegedly undergoing a shoulder filler procedure.
Han — who is active and popular on YouTube through her personal channel — recently uploaded a video titled “Summer Must Haves.” In the video, the actress showed fans and viewers a range of summer outfits with sleeveless tops she preferred to wear because they accentuated her shoulders. However, the noticeable appearance of her shoulders due to the video’s content led to a viewer’s comment about possible cosmetic enhancements.
The comment alleged that Han had undergone a shoulder filler procedure to enhance the size of one shoulder—this would result in your waist and face appearing much smaller in comparison. The noninvasive procedure involves injecting a gel-like substance, often hyaluronic acid, to add volume and improve the shape of the shoulders. Typically, 20-30cc of the filler is administered in one session, with results lasting from one to three years.
Experts say that the procedure is particularly beneficial for individuals with narrow or sloping shoulders, prominent shoulder bones, or uneven collarbones.

However, there are potential risks associated with shoulder fillers. Poorly executed procedures can lead to unnatural-looking lines between the shoulder, collarbone, and arm or cause bulges under the skin. Given the shoulder’s intricate network of arteries and blood vessels, errors can lead to serious complications such as inflammation, swelling, or even tissue damage.
Regardless, Han decided to quickly dispel any rumors and took to social media to deny the comment’s allegations. The actress shared a screenshot of a comment asking if she had received shoulder fillers alongside a caption: “What even are shoulder fillers?” She even added a surprised “What?” accompanied by a laughing emoji, ridiculing the accusation.
Remains to be seen whether Han Ye Seul’s viewers will accept her denial or continue to theorize about the assumed procedure.
