TWICE, having dominated 2018 by breaking records left and right, started off 2019 by breaking another one!
The group, besides performing at the 2019 Golden Disc Awards, were also nominees for various awards due to their stellar string of hits across 2018.
They would eventually go on to win both the Album Bonsang and Digital Song Division Bonsang Awards during the ceremony. In doing so, TWICE has now set the record for being the first girl group to win both awards in two consecutive years .
After the ceremony, TWICE posted on their social media accounts to thank ONCEs in helping them obtain this record.

With TWICE having gifted ONCEs with a surprise live performance of “The Best Thing I Ever Did” (the first time it had ever been performed live!) during the ceremony, I’m sure ONCEs are happy to have given TWICE a gift in return!
