A new teaser image of TWICE‘s Jeongyeon has raised suspicions for vastly different reasons.

Each year to celebrate their debut anniversary, TWICE holds a special fan meeting. This year, to mark their ninth year as a group TWICE will hold another fan meeting titled HOME 9ROUND on October 20th.

To build anticipation for the fan meeting, the group has shared individual photos of each member featuring them in baseball-related attire. Each member was photographed holding a bat, baseball, or, glove while wearing outfits with a sporty vibe.

Once all the photos were released and compiled, fans couldn’t help but notice something different about Jeongyeon’s. The idol’s teaser image is a close-up of her face, rather than a full or half-body shot like the other members.

While she looked beautiful in the photos, the difference raised suspicions for two completely different reasons.

On the one hand, some felt the new photo continued the treatment she has sometimes received since her health-related weight gain. In the past, fans have accused the company and its stylists of failing to dress Jeongyeon for her new body type.

Some felt that JYP Entertainment was “hiding” Jeongyeon’s figure in the image.

On the other hand, some fans see the difference as a potentially huge spoiler for Jeongyeon future activities.

Prior to the release of Jihyo’s solo album, the idol shared that her orange teaser photo that was not like the others was a hint that she couldn’t reveal at the time. This was later revealed to have been a hint at her solo debut.

Some fans have had this instance in mind with this photo of Jeongyeon with the impression it might be hinting at her solo debut.
