TWICE Jeongyeon’s Recent Outfits Spark Discussion About Her “Bad” Styling

TWICE‘s Jeongyeon is undeniably a gorgeous and talented idol who often is a “stan attractor.”

Unfortunately, fans have often had mixed feelings over the last few years about how she is styled for comeback promotions and other activities.

In 2021, Jeongyeon went on hiatus due to a herniated disc and anxiety, gaining weight likely as a side effect of her medication. Though everyone thinks she looks fantastic, the initial styling of her new body type fell short in some fans’ opinions.

These thoughts have continued, though some of her outfits have been praised for being cute and stylish while keeping her comfort in mind.

Recently, however, a discussion was sparked regarding her styling overall.

TWICE recently made their comeback with “Strategy feat. Megan Thee Stallion.” Before the track was even released, many fans were already praising Jeongyeon’s styling in teaser images.

For their promotions so far, Jeongyeon has also worn a variety of outfits that show off her long legs.

However, like before, it seems that not everyone has had good thoughts on her outfits, resulting in a viral tweet discussing the criticism. In the tweet, the netizen claims that lately, Jeongyeon’s outfits have been fine, but that the criticism is more connected to her weight, rather than the stylist.

Fans weight in on the discussion, with some still feeling that the group’s stylists were not properly dressing her body shape in “flattering” ways and commenting on how her outfits sometimes are different than the other members.

Others mentioned how Jeongyeon’s outfits likely take her comfort in mind, and are objectively cute. Some added that fat phobia likely influences how Jeongyeon is viewed, resulting in extra commentary on her outfits when if worn by another member, would not spark the same sort of criticism.

While it is understandable to criticize outfits at times, it seems most fans feel the criticism of Jeongyeon’s styling is too harsh.
