The most recent guest was TV personality and former Weekly Idol host Doni.
While he is very well-known, Doni is quite controversial, especially with his behavior towards idols when he was the MC for Weekly Idol. In particular, when TWICE was on the show, he received criticism for hitting Jongyeon very hard with a hammer during one of the episodes.
Even years after the incident, the clip continues to gain criticism.
When the episode was released on YouTube, it showed that the duo had to build domino shapes. After Doni accidentally knocked one over, Jongyeon was ready and netizens couldn’t help but smile as she grabbed a hammer almost identical to the one she was hit with.
Doni seemed scared and asked the idol to not hit him on the back.
Jongyeon then recalled that moment on Weekly Idol from all those years ago.
Doni then asked for “mercy,” prompting Jongyeon to use only one hand.
Even though Jongyeon is truly polite and didn’t hit him as hard as she could’ve, the sound and Doni’s hurt reaction definitely showed her strength.
Netizens were unsurprisingly obsessed with seeing Jeongyeon get revenge on Doni after seven years, and they shared their excitement on social media.
