TWICE’s Jihyo and Sana Recount Their First Impression Of Red Velvet’s Wendy, And It’s A Testament To Wendy’s Sweet Personality
TWICE and Red Velvet have been open about their friendship for a long time, melting the hearts of girl group stans with their adorable interactions.

They’ve even performed together on stage, covering S.E.S.‘s “Dreams Come True” at the year-end shows of 2018.

Recently, TWICE’s Jihyo and Sana guested on Red Velvet Wendy‘s radio show, Wendy’s Youngstreet, for “Talk that Talk” promotions, and the reunion between the girls made it impossible to stop smiling.
Sana said that they're free to choose the program they'll appear in to do the promotion. Sana and Jihyo said they wanted to go to Wendy's radio cause they wanted to see Wendy no matter what. They're so happy that they were smiling the whole time. TWICEVELVET 😭💖 pic.twitter.com/ORy9x84NPm

During their time together, Jihyo shared that her first interaction with Wendy was during the Idol Star Athletics Championships a few years back. Even though their promotions often overlapped at that time, the girls didn’t know each other well and had a strictly senior-junior relationship. But at ISAC, Wendy approached Jihyo first, commenting on Jihyo’s short hair. Jihyo was touched that Wendy had been paying enough attention to TWICE to know that Jihyo’s short hair was a new haircut.
Jihyo: The first time we talked, you might not remember. Even though our promotions overlapped a lot, we didn’t know each other well, we were seniors and juniors. Similarly, Wendy also approached Sana first during a variety show. The steps Sana and Wendy were sitting on were pretty high, and when they started to walk down, Wendy extended a hand to Sana to help her make it safely down. This happened before the two had exchanged a word, and Wendy’s caring actions moved Sana’s heart.

Even after the two groups became close, Wendy revealed that she and the rest of Red Velvet continued to keep up with a lot of TWICE content, whether it be their behind-the-scenes footage or their stages. Wendy also watches TWICE videos to cheer herself up sometimes!

Of course, as with all friendships, Wendy isn’t the only one invested in the other group’s activities. Sana revealed that she’s been looking at all the beautiful pictures of Wendy on her way to work. Sana isn’t the only one obsessed with Wendy’s beauty: the entirety of Korea is in love with Wendy, making her work pictures go viral multiple times.
