One of TWICE Mina‘s dreams recently came true during the group’s US tour!
TWICE performed in Fort Worth, Texas on February 22. This show was their first performance in Texas, and the members had a great time with Texas ONCEs!
Mina was born in San Antonio, Texas which is approximately 4 hours from Fort Worth. Although Mina moved to Japan when she was a toddler, Texas still holds a special place in her heart.
Mina once mentioned that she wished she could perform in Texas in an episode of TWICE TV.
Mina’s wish came true thanks to the Fort Worth concert! During the concert, Nayeon asked Mina to say a few words to ONCEs since she was born in Texas. She said, “Let’s hear what Mina has to say since she was born in Texas.” Mina smiled brightly as Nayeon spoke.
Mina said, “I never thought I’d get to perform here. It’s been such a long time since I got to visit, and I’m so excited to be here today with ONCE.”
Mina also expressed her gratitude for being able to return to Texas. She said, “It was my dream to come back to Texas after my debut. Thank you all for being so welcoming.”
We’re so glad Mina’s wish finally came true! We hope she and the rest of the members have a great time with ONCE on the rest of the tour!
