Hello, this is JYP Entertainment. We would like to inform you that TWICE’s Mina has confirmed positive for COVID-19 from her rapid antigen test conducted on May 23 (Monday).
After arriving in the United States, she confirmed negative, and during the group’s stay in the states, all members tested daily and confirmed negative. In addition, it was confirmed that both PCR tests performed before leaving the states and after returning to Korea were negative.
On the morning of May 23, she took a self-test kit after experiencing mild throat symptoms. A rapid antigen test was then performed, resulting in a final positive result. She has begun quarantine according to the guidelines of the health authorities.
We apologize for causing concern to the fans and officials who support TWICE. We will do our best for a speedy recovery as we consider our artists’s health as our top priority. Thank you.
On the other hand, members Momo, Tzuyu, and Nayeon also tested positive for COVID-19. We hope they all get better soon!
